    This edit examines the bigger picture of your story. We’ll dive into things like plot structure, world-building, pacing, characterization, etc.

    RATE: $0.01/word

    ex. 100k words = $1000

    Developmental edits also include in-line comments and an editorial letter explaining strengths and areas to consider/suggestions.

    *this includes two read-throughs or passes. if you’d like an additional pass, this will add an additional 50% fee

    This is a combination of line and copy editing, which includes assessing word choice, flow, grammar, etc.

    RATE: $0.008/word

    ex. 100k words = $800

    Line + copy edits come with an editorial letter and style guide.

    The proofread is the final read-through of the manuscript. At this stage, I’ll be looking for typos, grammar mishaps, etc.
